"Hardwork" used to be the mantra to success in olden days.No longer it holds true.Nowadays instant success is more to do with smart work rather than hard work. There is a fine line between working hard and working smart. Its all about turning a problem into opportunity, you can crib as you like about bad situation. Or you can show them what you are made of. I have been in hardworker category till last year ,but a soft skills calls made me realize i need to get smart.
Share credit if needed, people who never worked with you or didnot help you don't deserve credit. But ensure credit is given to a person who helped you.Else you will end up alone with your success.Its relationships which matter more than success .
