Brotherhood~~

We all say its a man's world out there. In the next minute we gush about women in every field today managing to outdo men.But somehow i feel there is still a gap which might never go away despite our entrance in 21st century.I might be a bit pessimistic in my attitude but hell i know what i am talking about.
I recently came across such depressing scenarios where my whole foundation was rocked into pondering over my life.
There are always some old timers who yap about having a son to carry forward and reach heaven et all.Its amusing hear their yapping. Not that i argue with them, its a free world and everyone is entitled to their opinion. There were couple of people in course of my career who thought "girls will get married and have kids, so career is time pass" .."You earn and its extra money , we have earn , no choice" .Now this is plain green jealousy or what :P
Some old ladies look at my dad in village "only girl" oh NO! (With an expression of choking something large).Well i say to you what is wrong with being a girl.Though i must say such incidents are rare , but they do exist. And in office if your manager is chauvinist then you are done.We are yet to come of age in terms of gender equality .My maid who was widowed very young can't remarry as its not done thing .I say a son actually marry twice with both alive and nobody says anything.
People management is difficult if you are young female manager ,i have seen some friends complaining that they face lot of resentment initially.People turn against you.One friend told me  that she always have to work harder to prove herself .She gets promoted and  after every promotion she is taunted about it .Her beauty is supposed to have gotten that promotion, despite all her hardwork.I don't say such things don't happen. But not always .....Maybe a sisterhood is required to be started for some forward thinking.Maybe segregating gender is not really a good idea.

Being nice is doormat-ism?

Nowadays its considered cool to be rude and bad mouthed? Since when did this happen? Adults reprimanded children for using words which are considered bad language. But now it seems a norm use F words ,gaali etc in movies and real life.
I was watching some movie on TV with some local slang's and gaali. It was a major hit .How did we come to this?Oh no, i am not trying to be moral police here.Just that some word's are used anywhere and everywhere irrespective of situation. And nobody's turns a hair.Somehow using it in a polite situation spoils the overall effect.
Here if someone is very nice and uses good language is considered "the good one" "the uncool one" "seedha saadha" "studious" and what all.I have seen some genuinely nice people getting sidelined in the line of recognition because they used normal language. How uncool is that now.But in the long run nice people come on the top. They might not be  as popular as the baddie ,but they are not doormat's!

PS: Not based on me, purely hypothetical :D
