And in a whirl the year is over

The year and next year now goes by very quickly, you would be sitting and sipping and shopping with a friend in January and voila its December and you think, wow did the year just go by?These days a year ending is all about reflecting it, unlike resolutions we used to make in past.As we all know the resolutions are just that and never really hard rules. The year that was is something which starts going through our minds and many a people rush through december to fulfill some of their doable resolutions to completion. And December too reaches an end we all wonder if the new year will bring anything new or we will continue our humdrum kinda life. And lets face it 99.9% have 300 days of humdrum life.We do take vacations, party, but we still gotta do what we gotta do.
We also thank god for few good things which came our way, then we look at few lesser fortunate and again count our blessings. We then think of doing something for less fortunate. And the world is now filled a new generation of youngsters who are making a big difference to the world and contributing a lot.We lose a few people and add a few people every year.Sometimes we lose them forever and sometimes we add them forever. The truth of life is that we go empty handed is reinforced when we lose some loved one.
We lose some ideals gain some every year.We have some shattered illusions as we get older and a new wonder for life every year .We gain some new knowledge, forget something .We sometimes befriend our frenemies, feel blessed or feel unlucky. This is a cycle we probably will go through our entire lives, this keeps making year after year interesting . For some a new year brings new hope, next year ends somebody's long toil of studying and finally lands them a job. Some marry and some have kids, some lose somebody and some just erase somebody from their life. Some are caught in the cycle of hopeless situation, looking for a miracle. Some are just too sick to even look at a calendar. But, we all look upon a new year as a magical clock to reset life free of worries and loss. But, is the new year really a clock of resetting things? I think its upto us to do it.Life is what we make it, there is no magic or luck, just us with our beliefs and faith. With this i wish the new years bring us all a new joy of life.
I am restting atleast all my resentments real or make believe and tuning my good things clock to run faster next year!
