Ring of faith

Lately i was getting fed up,things seem to be moving in circles.I was cribbing and being cynical.Making statements like "who cares about hardwork?" "Honesty doesn't pay".
I was watching TV,the hero was putting a ring on the heroin's finger.I wear three rings and turned to see them, and one of my fingers was missing the latest ring i was wearing!I frantically started searching the house.I look for it high and low.But didn't find it as was not sure when and where i lost it.I thought "oh well,so its lost.forget it" and promptly i did.
I was in office checking my office mails and working on the new project.I suddenly saw this email from one of the admin managers stating if anyone has lost something please contact me.I replied back telling about my lost ring.He promptly replied telling me come to his cabin.I went there in stupor that a lost gold can be found ! He called the security head and he asked the rings's description which i gave him precisely and got my ring back.
It was found by a lady named Lalitha in the restroom!Needless to say my faith in humanity got restored.I no longer say the above cliche's and believe we all deserve what is our at some time. The lost ring signified my lost faith and cynicism ,which is restored now!

Thats life..

We see things happening around us,people not worthy getting ahead. You see them and feel whats the point ?People curse fate ,luck and try to justify their lack of measuring up.But in some cases genuine hard workers are pushed on back shelves and they have unworthy people ahead of them. You might have seen such cases around you. These people then become cynical and indifferent to success and thats a dangerous state to be in.Its a very self destructive mode, when you no longer care for what happens.True potential gets wasted. They are so caught in demeaning their situation that they forget that they have an option to breakout of it.In most cases some even revel it.I know what i am talking now doesn't make sense. But,only way to be dynamic in life is to make some compromises and keep up that "never say die" attitude. But,trust me indifference is not the clue, that will just make you a doormat :)

Snobbery!!

This is such a Victorian phrase.I used to see this a lot in victorian era novels. And it used to invoke a such touchy feel to the novel. Now lets see what is textbook meaning is "A snob is someone who adopts the worldview of snobbery — that some people are inherently inferior to him or her for any one of a variety of reasons, including real or supposed intellect, wealth, education, ancestry, taste, beauty, et cetera" .Yes,all these areas invoke snobbery,we just thought its just a feeling between rich and poor differentiating among themselves. Ancestral snobbery can be found in small towns and villages.Where people are differentiated based on birth, caste, community. In the cities we hardly interact with people with such depth.Based on wealth ,its common, still albeit at lesser levels compared to the others types. Now,education level snobbery is limited with IIT's and IIM's.If you are from these major institutions then people are treated a intellectual super beings and they expect to be treated differently.(I am just generalizing, might not be true). Now lets think what kinda snobbery we support in our lives.Well,i am a snob in the entertainment area, let me clarify.I cant seem to hit it off with people who discuss Ekta Kapoor saga's at every conversation.I absolutely hate discussing them(a total waste of time).I don't mind people watching them,as my mom too watches them sometimes. But discussing them at every time you meet a person,is not my thing. It might be due to the fact that i rarely watch them and have nothing to add to the conversation.I am trying to overcome this trait.I see snobbery based on people's depth of common sense. So,lets not be so differentiating in life and be happy people who coexist with all sorts of anomaly.
