Gloomy weather!

The day started with rain.I didnot want to get up and go to office.But,i got up and was ready by the time cab came to pick me up.They say your surroundings make up your thoughts.The weather was gloomy,cab driver was playing some gloomy music.At a traffic signal,i saw a woman begging with a small child with her.Her face looked battered ,it was for sure a case of domestic voilence.It generally makes me sad to see this,but the gloom was affecting me and I felt like crying.I gave here Rs 10,she looked like she won a lottery .I somehow felt good from then on after seeing her smile.Oh no,the cause of mood uplifting wasnot my good deed(i am not so concieted),it was her tiny smile.Then we moved on,next i saw a very smartly dressed girl on the opposite side of the road.My respectable cabmate was ogling her.(:p) and i was watching his reactions.Then the cab driver starting emulating my cabmate!I say i always find such obious behaviour funny.Then on my mood was uplifted and the weather looked like it was improving.Time to stop my ramblings

Some funny moments...

Sometimes in life there are these moments when we involuntraily smile..here are some which i can recall.
1)I was in stuck in traffic on a really bad road,was recalling my bad day from heavy work to skipped lunch.Some moron behind me was horning continiously.I acted totally out of character and made gestures of flying to the guy.Then i see an old lady in the neighbouring car clapped !and we nodded in agreement that "maniac" :)
2)I work in a global project ,get exposure to all types of cultures.We basically interact via chat.Here are some funny excepts,
* In Japan,
I got a mail with Mr. addressed to me.Same goes with me ,i am scared to guess if the mail is for a guy or a gal.So,play safe with simple "hi"
*US
Here again we get people with scrict formal to total casual.If an indian from US expect formal and distant mails and pings.

Thereby i enjoy and learn something new about cultural differences via interactions through chats ...we all have small funny moments in life,which might be funny to us but not to others.

Japanese enlightment!

Japan has quite a fasinating culture.I have been lately interacting with a few japanese in lieu of my new project.Their ways are quite facinating and show they are highly patient people.We have to address then as "lastname san" and bow a bit.I have still not quite managed to do that.They detail oriented approach tests our limits.But guess thats why they have the best quality in the world.As an ice breaker,we took the japanese folk to Mysore and it was quite an exciting outing.We took them to kamat and made the eat idli ,dosas :) !They liked it!Then tried a place called "Fish Land" in Mysore.They liked that as well.Only thing they didnot like was the "Paan" .The way japanese to english translation works sometimes is baffling.Let me give you an example.The japanese lady who went with us asked me "What kind of men you like"?.I gave a startled expression.Then again "Do you wanna have kids?" .This was expecially funny as we were avoiding any personal conversation.Our bilingual cultural consultant told us "Japanese dont like the personal question's about family or maritial status".So we were piously avoiding them.So,you can understand on a fun outing avoiding personal question doesnot leave much to talk.But these questions freed my tongue and i got up close and personal with my questions.I had to talk slowly with pauses and repeat myself many times.It was fun and quite exciting as their culture is very unique.Japanese culture to the rest of the world is a mystery as its not widely known due to language barrier.
