Eh, yes you read it right.I title has a bad word, i was just reflecting on my previous post and the no expectation theory stood out.We think we are so right sometimes that we actually emphatically write about it.Now, due to changed circumstances and obviously wisdom which comes with age i realized that some of it needs reevaluation.I think no expectation is good, wasn't it the base of Geeta and lord Krishna convinced Arjuna to fight the war.Well, its still true, but if we expect nothing, we really get nothing in life.I think we need to expect many things, else it becomes a trend and you end being a total doormat.
I just hate driving for some reason i.e a car , and so i never really was fascinated by cars or models of car.I always had cabs or Auto at my disposal.And i was happy in it.It was never a status symbol for me and neither did my family think anything of it.Now, after living in Delhi for sometime, i realize everyone has a car mostly and its best to have one if we want to get anywhere.I now think relearning driving is going make me totally independent, so i am enrolling to driving and hoping that my hatred for driving turns to love for it.So, this is an small example which shows that sometimes we need to unbend from our dislike and do things for greater good of life.
After seeing people with a mindset of show off and materialistic ,here relationships are friendships are based on the make of car or all the things BS.Living here has made me a bit ambitious and made me think no expectation is being too saintly.And none of us really are, so why be hypocrite ,and we all know we all have expectations. It could be from our spouse, or family or extended family.But, once they all don't meet those, we become complacent in chalta hai attitude.And you get taken for a ride.Having a voice is good, but it doesn't mean being argumentative.Logic i think solves most problems in life.But, have minimal expectations as its good to have some ambition in life.On that note i sign off.
