Nowadays , people lie so much.Sometimes its even without their knowing that they are giving false information.I once saw some colleague taking leave during critical project time stating being sick.But unfortunately his sense did not made him realize that his facebook status was contradictory(it was long ago,but still pisses me off). Suffice to say i have lost faith in such people now.I myself take leave if needed, by stating real reason.I have not faked sick leaves so far thankfully.So ,this incident reminded me of a incident in school.
In class 8, we had a mandatory craft class.I wasn't interested in making woolen squares, i was playing catch catch with a friend from my desk to hers.Unfortunately the PT teacher entered the class and saw me.She asked me "were you playing the class" .Stupid me said "No" in a low tone.When i knew she has seen me playing why did i lie? As i said involuntary i suppose to escape from a bad situation and get away from consequences of my action.PT teacher got real angry now, she was angry i lied , i thought she was angry about playing in the class.She made me write 100 times "I will not lie again". This made me mad, but the next day when i went to submit it.She told me my lying was what got me into trouble, and that you should only lie if it saves someone's life.I would say that was defining moment for me,maybe made a better person.I want to say thanks to that teacher this close to teachers' day.
I recently found that some person has been copy pasting my blog posts and publishing on his blog, word to word.I found it by accident.But ,made me feel irritated initially, then amused that i was good enough to be copied.I hope he is reading now and has the decency to remove my posts.
This is another form of lying.If we consciously decide to stop lying, its possible. No need to sugarcoat things if bluntness shows the person right path.
