Impulse

I was just thinking if we all were impulsive then life would be very difficult,but neither is being non impulsive good for anything.If Adam hadn't given in to his impulse where would we be now :P.There are so many crimes committed on impulse .We say things we don't mean and regret later.Be impulsive in being generous than hurting someone.I dunno why i am talking about it at all..Somehow this word stuck on my mind today.

I recently attended a session on Leadership skills..I went with an open mind as to what i might discover.It was an interesting outing with few games thrown in and a discussion after every one of them.It was a novel approach to learn about leadership skills.Made me think about what really are those skills?Can we acquire them by attending classroom sessions.And even if we try to use them in real life..Well..the answer is a obviously yes,else all those books on leadership won't sell.I usually never touched books on human qualities.Now,i have decided  to read some of those all famous books.Maybe i might gain some more of those skills.Lets see how it maps out.
Leadership is not about a role or a job profile.Everybody is a leader in his or her own right.But ,we hesitate to display them and allow others to lead us into these molds of what is right and wrong.I feel this session/outing made me think rather than me gaining anything new.And when you start thinking again is the time when you gain or lose something...
